Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nestora?

Nestora is a communication platform that helps people connect for sperm donation, recipient matching, and co-parenting arrangements. We facilitate introductions only — we do not provide medical services, legal advice, or reproductive assistance.

Is Nestora free?

Yes. All core features are currently free. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but the core matching and messaging will remain free.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Preferences & Legal → Delete Account. Or visit our account deletion page for full instructions. You can also email support@nestora.one from your registered email.

Why do you need my phone number?

Phone verification is our primary way to prevent fake accounts, spam, and ban evasion. Your phone number is not displayed to other users and is stored separately from your profile.

Can I use a display name instead of my real name?

Yes. We encourage it. Nestora does not require or collect real names. Your display name is how other users see you.

Is the health information verified?

No. All health information on Nestora is self-reported and unverified. We strongly recommend independent health screening and medical advice before entering any reproductive arrangement.

Can I report a user?

Yes. Tap the report button on any user's profile or in a conversation. You can also email safety@nestora.one directly. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

How does blocking work?

When you block a user, they cannot see your profile, message you, or know that you blocked them. The block is mutual — you won't see them either.

Why can't I discuss compensation?

In some jurisdictions (Australia, UK, Canada, and others), sperm donation must be altruistic — compensation beyond reasonable expenses is illegal. Our content filters automatically restrict compensation-related language in those regions to help keep conversations within legal bounds. If you're in a region where compensation is legal (e.g., United States), this restriction does not apply.

Does Nestora guarantee anything about other users?

No. We do not verify identities (beyond phone number), health claims, intentions, or suitability of any user. All interactions are at your own risk. Please exercise caution and seek professional advice.

Safety Tips

Reporting Abuse

Use the in-app report feature or contact safety@nestora.one.

Emergency: If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (000 in Australia, 911 in the US, 999 in the UK) before contacting us.
